Get Out Of Your Own Dang Way!

You know that horrible dream, where you are in the school cafeteria, and everyone is laughing at you? Well, that is what it can sometimes feel like in real life when we try to do something, right? We feel like everyone is watching. Judging. Even Laughing. Seriously though, that isn't the case!

 This brings me to Tip #1

•  Give Fewer F*ck's

Yes. I said it. Stop caring what other people think of your life choices. We spend so much time worrying and creating our own anxiety, over what other people think. In all honesty, other people probably don't judge us as much as we think they do!

YOU are the one that needs to live your life. Do this without giving any f*ck's about others opinions on how you are living your life! YOU do you boo! Let go of all that shiz.....



• Don't Be Afraid to Fail

Did you know that the fear of failing becomes just as powerful as the actual failure itself?  It's true. What we feed, expands. If we are always worried about failing, we are basically making ourselves slaves to our fear. It's like we already failed!  

Just accept that Failure Happens. It happens to EVERYONE. In some shape or form. Maybe you are scared of failing at your new diet or workout plan. Maybe you are scared of failing at your job. Maybe you are scared to branch out and do your own thing business wise! Whatever it is, don't let that fear own you.  

Jump. Make your parachute on the way down. Life is all about failing forward. When you were a baby, you probably failed lots when learning to walk, and potty train. But that didn't stop you from trying again, and moving forward! You finally mastered it, and grew up! Now look at you, you amazing being you!  Don't give in to the fear of failing. Learn to accept failure, and look at it as a learning process, to fail forward.  Just jump.



• Just say No to perfection

Yes, I'm serious.  Striving for perfect conditions for everything we do is exhausting. I mean if we had waited until the "perfect time" to have kids, I'd probably still not have any! (I actually have 3, my oldest is in college!) 

Maybe you are one of those that just wants everything lined up perfecting before you start. You want to write a book. Launch a business. Start a new diet & workout regimen. But you haven't yet, because things weren't perfectly aligned along the space time continuum.  If you are are one of those, STOP. Just stop now. 

Have you ever sat down with a list that looks something like this:
  • Write blog post
  • Do Laundry
  • Go to Store
You sit down to start the first item on the list. Type a few sentences. Go back & read them. Delete them and start over. Repeat 15 times.  If so, you have wasted SO MUCH time! Just write it. If you want time to review before sending cool. But write it all out, then leave it for later to review and doctor up. Stepping away can do you some good sometimes. You come back with a clearer head. But just say no to perfection! 

Remember, even the biggest most celebrated winners at things are rarely perfect!
